President Message

Dear Members,

Thanks to the business community who have reposed the confidence in me to take the responsibility of running the affairs as the President, Lasbela Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the year 2019-20.

In fact, being the President of Lasbela Chamber, the biggest in Balochistan with respect to its contribution towards economic development, is an honour for me but at the same time it is a challenge and added responsibility to create the environment most conducive not only to continue the industrial and commercial activities in the region, but also for the expansion and further investment as well, particularly in the wake of CPEC for which the Lasbela District is most attractive venue for potential investment by local as well as multinational investors.

I will however, focus my attention towards achieving the above objectives and to promote the Chamber’s image and services which may attract new investment and also to ensure the increasing role of Industrialists and the Chamber in the efforts to raise the living standard of the people of Lasbela.

While I assure you to make efforts to improve the rendering of traditional services to the members by the Chamber, I would request you all to keep me update about the problems and difficulties which you are facing in our region and suggestion to over-come the same, so that we may be able to remove the bottlenecks to achieve better and better environment to continue the industrial and commercial activities peacefully.

I sincerely believe that a united business community can command respect and recognition of its voice in the Government circles which would enable it to play its traditional and dynamic role in an effective manner as an engine of economic growth. Of-course due to the determination and hard work of the business community the economic wheel of the country is moving on, irrespective of the rough road and bad weather all around.

Finally, I assure you that with the blessing of Almighty Allah and continued support and cooperation of the members and my colleagues, Mr. Muhammad Siddiq Rafee, Senior Vice President and Mr. Badar-e-Munir Patel, Vice President as well as members of the Executive Committee, we would Insha- Allah further elevate the status of the Chamber and effectively espouse the cause of private sector in the service of nation and the country.

With kind regards I am looking forward to your valued suggestions and input on various issues.
